OK, so we did a
Scambio in L'Aquila and that's where everything started to go wrong, but before
that L'Aquila is really old and really cool and resides in the mountains so
literally no matter where to walk to, you walk up hill even when you walk back
the path you just came, you walk up hill no matter what.
But we had a good
lesson there, while I was with Anziano Daniels in his 2nd transfer and it was
interesting being the one to know more Italian but really lets you realize how
much you know, so that was nice.
But on the way back we
had to run and we caught our bus barely and then I look at my tablet and it's
the wrong tablet... Because me and Anz Daniels have the same case amd it
is really hard to tell them apart so know I have been stuck with his for this
week, so that is fun, but I will get mine back on Tuesday so I can't
wait!
But it didn't end there,
after we got off the bus I realized my phone had slipped out of my pocket and
we had to go retrieve that for the bus dispositorio, but there was a nice bus
driver that gave us a personal ride to the place so it was resolved.
Also it was Italian
women's day that day so after being guilt tripped we bought the sisters these
yellow flowers that everyone buys for all the women because of this holiday, so
it was fun to do something nice.
You know what's funny,
when a member asks for your help and then when you get there, you wrap up
six feet of clothes shoes and bags, and then another six feet of diapers, all
in plastic wrap each in the biggest bags I have ever seen, and then leave like
nothing happened. Cause you know that's just normal here.
Also we met this
awesome family that live out in Cepagatti and after talking to them for a while
and explaining why we are sorry we can't eat the cake you made for us because
of alcohol content we gave our message and they want us to come back because we
are "bravi ragazzi" so that's just nice and the father gave us a
small tour of the city and showed us his garden and vineyard, so that was
fun.
Sunday the
mission president came and just miracles happened, because we have been
struggling with getting investigators to church but this week, 3 came and
another potential showed up in the last meeting and participated and is giving
us an opportunity to teach English to 20 something giovani in Chieti so that'll
be great!!
Also this P-day we got
to go to Caserta near Napoli and I am going to have Napolitano pizza soon so I
am excited I will send a picture of me eating the best pizza in the world later
so don't worry. We are her for Anz Bohn's Permesso, and he showed me this giant
palace that was in Mission impossible as a copy cat for the Vatican and the
temple scene in star wars as well, so cool!
So yah that's it so
far have an awesome week!
