Happy Birthday to both of
you, I just want to tell you how thankful I am for you and everything you all
have done for me!! You have been an amazing support for and example for me when
i was growing up and I have learned about life in general but also how to be
the best parents ever!
I want you to know how
absolutely proud I am to be your son and the blessing it is to have been able
to be raised by you!
I love you guys and
hope I can grow up to be like you! (:
OK, I will start off with
something sort of disappointing. We have been practicing with a member who
plays the piano to do a singing musical number, my comp. and I, so we have been
practicing a little to get Credo in te GesĂș (i believe in Christ) to sound
really good then before church her baby got sick so we couldn't do it and
transfers are today so if we are transfered I'll do it with my next comp or
something or vice versa or something, chi ne sach.
One of our
simpatezzanti Alessandro, we have met with him like three times in three
weeks (that's probably terrible for an American missionary but va boh) but
he has come to church 3 times and has made great friends with the members so we
are excited for him whether we get to continue teaching him or another set of
Anziani come in.
We have this really
cool member family here and for a lunch appointment with them, they took us up
to a mountain and we had a barbecue and it was just super fun to spend time
with their family.
Ok miracle time, when
we were walking to church (we were running late, so it was happenstance) and
this guy pulls close to us then pulls directly in front of us and blocks our
path and says out the window siete mormoni (you are Mormons?) so we talk with
him he has a friend from church that he had talked to and he wanted a book of
Mormon, he has one now, and he said he couldn't come to church this week but he
will next week so we hope good on this one. Also named Alessandro so that'll be
fun to try to differentiate them when speaking.
Lastly, for Pday
I went with a group to Mount Vesuvius, you know that one volcano that blew up
and destroyed a bunch of cities and all that good stuff.
We took a train then a
bus then walked for about 30 minutes and it was one of the best views of the
cities I have ever seen, We can practicaly see every city in the zone almost.
The volcano was more just a mountain with a valley in it but that view was
totally worth it and now I can say I did it at very least.
You are all awesome I
hope you great weeks!!
